Recent slow response time with WebDev

For some unknown reason the site is a bit slow lately and I'm looking into it.

yes, sometimes I see a little bit slow loading

The forum does a local backup of files & DB in the early morning (EST) a few times per week. The file backup likely causes it to be a bit laggy when it's doing that task. I didn't think of it at the onset of this thread & normally this site is fairly quick.
