I forgot all about this mod. However, you can hardly tell they are there because of the colors of the theme.

Chen Zhen

Ya.. snow is white though so what can I do?

Skhilled

Chen Zhen

I went with something close to aqua blue.

Skhilled

They still look white to me. Maybe my glasses are broken. LOL Sorry, couldn't resist...

Chen Zhen

It's on random right now.. I just realized one of the snowflake types doesn't have a color setting & another one has it but it's ignored. 2 others have the working setting. I'll have to fix it up.. thanks for bringing this up.

Chen Zhen

Alright I fixed the mod.. all the snowflake types should be this color: #5cb5e1

Skhilled

Cool! But I don't see any snowflakes, atm.

Chen Zhen

Not even xmas lights?

I set it to disabled for posting a topic.
You won't see any effects when making a post which is purposeful.

Skhilled

Yes, I can see the lights but just not the snow as you've pointed out.

Skhilled

Just a thought... It would be nice if you could set the snowflakes to a certain color...especially if it is a dark or light theme. ;)

Chen Zhen

I thought we already talked about this?

You can set them to different colors.
Have you looked at the snowflakes admin before?

Skhilled

We probably did and I just forgot. Too many things going on which is why I'm not to fond of the holidays. LOL

Yes, I've looked at the admin.

Chen Zhen

If you opt the various types of snowflakes in the drop-down, it will show different settings for each type.

There are color settings for all 4 snowflake types (the recent release has a color fix for 2 of them).
One of the snowflake types is an actual image that can be uploaded (there are some included) & you can change it to a different effect such as floating leaves, flying bees, etc.
That image can be colored via css now in the latest release.

Ok, now I remember the various images that can be used. I've forgotten all about them since I haven't used the mod lately. LOL

Maybe, some of the types of imaes that can be used could be added to the topic...hmmm...
