I activated the shout box for Enterprise C and it works for shouts, but even with the 'Shout Member Scores' activated no scores are being posted.

Is there a setting I'm missing?


It should be noted that I can't get it to work on the test site either.


UPDATE: The scores do register on the EH Portal shout box if that helps

It all started so well. I transferred the site files to the new host and uploaded the games etc and most of it was working.

Then earlier today suddenly some games in the arcade decided to stop scoring and displaying 'Oops, looks like the page is lost at the endsubmit' which is the hosts 403 error.

Then Ruffle decided to stop working and a game, Tiretoss, that I tested and got a score on would not work having a Ruffle error screen where the game should be.

I then checked that all the hooks were there, which they were, then I thought I'd update Ruffle from the Github as the link to your server timed out. The update worked ok but the Tiretoss would still not play.

So my last resort was to disable the arcade in it's settings and thought I'd have a look tomorrow. But I cannot leave it so I uninstalled Arcade via the Package manager deleted the file and then checked all the templates it writes to so make sure all traces of it were gone.

They were all gone, all the hooks had been removed also.

So I then reinstalled the Arcade with the latest version and although it shows in the package manager as installed I cannot see it in Admin. The 12 hooks have been installed and all the folders associated with it are there to but nothing can be seen in admin.

It's late here so I'm going to bed

So the question is what do you think the issue might be?

For some reason I get these errors in the server log, some of them are following an attempt by the Arcade to write a score for a game, the more recent ones are from uploading a game.

If I revert to 2.6.7 it works OK and the game scores are saved with no errors, but I cannot upload games, I get the error as in the last code box.

UPDATE: * I have reverted the site back to PHP7.4 re-installed 2.6.9 and all the errors stop.

There is an issue with the [more] option within the smileys in the shoutbox (V1.35).

If you click on the smileys icon then on the [more] button the pop up opens but when you try to select a smiley nothing happens, it's not entered into the message box. At the bottom of the box

With Tiny Portal they have an 'Edit Block' icon on the title bar of each block

Is it possible for that to happen with EhP please? Something similar to one of these maybe

I've noticed that when you add the 'color' bbcode to the list it doesn't show an icon for it on the shoutbox.

Does anyone know if it's a bug or is it meant to be that way?

Using the code [color] does actually work, but you have to do it manually.

And what is the [me] code for?

In case you're wondering I have been tinkering with the colours in the css 

When you click on the 'More' button for smileys, the popup window opens, but you are not able to choose a smiley as there is a JS error.

Ignore this please. Sorry but I misunderstood the 'Game Posting' option. I thought it was for others to upload games to the site for inclusion to the arcade...which in thinking about it wouldn't really be that safe...although when you download from other sites they might not be safe either.

Anyway the upshot is you can delete this post if you want to

I have set up the Azure API and input all the data to the arcade settings,
(I have shortened the subs key)

I was under the impression that the app would translate the game info from the php file 'gwords' description to english.

Am I wrong? If so could the reason be that when creating the API I set it up as Linux rather than Windows or that I'm using 'UK South' as the region code?

Uninstalled games:

When I uninstall a game now the name of the game is not shown in the info window. It does when a game is installed.

PS I've done these both on the same post so as not keep posting.

I updated Ruffle using the built in arcade updater and when you use the 'Retrieve Github Ruffle Update' the .wasm file has no content, 0 kb.

I also uploaded todays Ruffle update (donwnloaded today from Ruffle page) using the browse option and when it uploads and auto extracts that too has no content.

The only way, for me at least, to ensure the update is done correctly is to do it manually via ftp.

I think the problem is that when the updates are extracted they're extracting a folder rather than the files because when I auto extract the files they go into a folder. If I then take all the extracted files and create a new archive the update works OK.

Just thought you should know

Everything is working fine until I decide to upload new games via the html5 uploader (using the standard uploader is fine)

I have found out, through process of elimination, that the uploader will not function while I have the 'Friends Of Quizland' scrolling block running. The block is part of Simple Portal 2.3.7. If I disable the block in the portal settings then it's fine and I can upload game files. The code is as follows;

A couple of weeks ago I happened to see my usual cron backup ran at over 1GB. I investigated and found that the 'games_download' folder had over 800MB of files in it. As I was pretty sure these files were now not needed as the games were installed I deleted them.

Yesterday the cron job ran and for some reason the files have returned. See attached images of what I mean. I haven't run a restore on my files so this is a bit odd.

Do the files need to be there or can I delete them again?

I seem to have a lot of flash games that will now not work and come up with the 'Ruffle' error. I have checked in 'Admin' to ensure that '+& Added: Ruffle Emulator library to allow flash support (can be disabled in Admin)' is not disabled and it's not. So not sure why this is happening as almost all my games were tested to see if they were mobile friendly and the descriptions were edited to say whether they are or not.

At present I am just reporting the games so they come off the board temporarily.

Will ruffle be updated separately or when there is an arcade update?

Also has anyone noticed the ruffle site now doesn't allow downloads of the 'Browser Extension' or 'Website self hosting files'?

Hi all,

I occasionally use my Samsung Tab S6 to play games on my site if I'm out and about. When I log in to the site I go to Arcade and the layout is huge and virtually all white (and I've tested it here too). I've attached a couple of screenshots so you can see it. It happens on all themes even the SMF default.

If I click on the 'View desktop site' option on the tablet it then shows as normal.

Now I'm not sure if this is an SMF issue or if it's the Arcade. The Quiz works as normal as does everything else.

Anyone have any idea what might cause this?

I know in theory I should go to the themes creator, I signed up to the Fussilet's site but cannot see anywhere to get support for this issue.

I really would like to use the attached theme 'Lamartine' as my default for my site but for some reason it will not allow the games to play.

I have put the ruffle code into the index.template but all I get is a blank area where the game should play.

Games work on other themes but for some reason not on this one.

Can anyone help please?

I have searched for the question here to see if it's been posted before but it doesn't seem to have been.

Is there anywhere in the Arcade mod that you can see which member downloaded a game file?

I tested it out with my alter ego on my site and downloaded 2 games. I then logged back in as me and looked in the alter ego profile under the 'Arcade Statistics' but nothing was seen and I have checked and the games show there have been downloads, see attachment.

I know that with the ipsproarcade you can see who downloaded so I was wondering if I've missed something somewhere?

Just to let you know that in the 2.64 version the 'cancel.png' icon in 'arc_icons' folder has a capital 'C' and according to the code it should be lowercase.

Does anyone know where the date format is for the Arcade please?

It doesn't seem to be linked to the site date as mine is set to the way we set the date in the UK- Day:Month:Year

I have looked in the arcade css but cant see it in there, I have also had a look in the templates and even in some of the scripts searching for 'date' but I can't find anything.

Another question for you.

Looking at the growing size of the 'Games' folder on my site. Is it possible to have multiple folders for the storage?

The reason I ask is that I use 'XCloner' to run cron jobs to back up the whole site, at the moment once a week. The size of the last backup was around 1GB and it's growing all the time. As you can see from this screenshot

With the 'Downloads Pro' mod there is an option to enable multiple folders

In the settings for the XCloner I can 'Excluded Directories' which means once a folder is full I can stop that folder from being backed up as it no longer gets populated with new files, therefore the size of my backup is reduced from time to time.
