It looks ok to me.

On this website or your own?

Looks OK to me. I have a member who says it is distorted. I will ask which device.
Everything was great, until I asked someone how to move the arcadeholics to public_html.
I followed there directions, and arcadeholics is still floating somewhere in orbit.
So I had to redo the entire forum all over again, I had a backup, but have no clue on how to reinstall a backup. I will not follow there directions again.
So after redoing the forum and reinstalling the arcade and battle, the map is blurry to oak.
Oak uses the following: Dell XPS , Win 10 , 19in monitor , 16GB , 2TB H/Drive , I9 Processor 4GB Graphics card
Ask them to go into their graphic card settings.
Ensure the resolution is set to 1080p ( 1920 x 1080 ) or better if possible.
If the resolution is below that then perhaps it can cause an issue.
Although it wouldn't only occur for Battle.
I will tell oak to check this.
The map looks like this for him.

That's very odd.
I recently changed it to div tables so it looks ok on mobile and desktop.
I will attempt to emulate various environments to see if I can replicate the problem.

I gave him the info. from you, never heard anything back from him. Either its working or he hasn't said anything.
I tried to duplicate the problem using some emulators but everything seems fine.
Perhaps it's the browser. Find out what browser is being used.
Could be a browser and/or extension issue, perhaps?
I'm not sure what's going on at the moment.
If the browser supports HTML5 then it should be working.
I need to know the browser name & version to determine if it supports HTML5.
This person might like using some browser I've never heard of before (not popular mainstream).
That's what I'm guessing. A lot of Ron's members are older folks.

Hey are you calling us old?
Oak (Glenn) lives in the UK, is a member of Hell's Angels, is a retired (old person) prison guard nurse.
I sent him a message asking him which browser he is using.
Glenn the old person uses Edge browser.
Thus old person I also use Edge.

I'm an old person too and I use 'Brave' :P
I should add that I have seen no issues on my arcade using Brave.

Steve is just a young whipper snapper!
I test on a desktop with Edge, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Firefox, Flashpeak, SeaMonkey, Epic and IE.
Every one of them shows the proper map for Battle.
I can test it on a few of my laptops using Edge but I doubt there will be any problem.
Can you give me a link to his SMF Battle or is it a private site?
If this person has html or javascript errors then it might cause a problem.
ie. from portal blocks or custom edits.

Chen you'll need to go to Hampstead UK, bring a laptop for testing.
He has no longer been mentioning the problem, let's say it has been solved, for now.
Oh you mean he doesn't have his own website?
??? Ok then, I suppose it's not what I mentioned if it happens here on WebDev itself.

Sure hope you don't expect gifts for Christmas and your Birthday????
My grandson's Birthday is a couple days before Christmas, lucky kids gets both.
I did when I was a kid. LOL And actually did...for awhile.
My sister's b-day is the 5th, my dad's is the 20th, then there's Xmas, mine is the 29th and my brothers (twins) are the 31st, New Years Eve. LMAO

Does it get dark early and very cold in March were you live (https://www.quizland.co.uk/Smileys/dave/rofl.gif)
LOL
I was able to duplicate this map problem & it should be fixed in the latest release.
For some reason it did not occur for me previously but while testing it on SMF 2.0 today I witnessed it.
This enabled me to fix it assuming it was the same problem.
