What's new in this version?
Just the ability to include a jQuery library (option within the settings).
I have not had the time to change/add other things that are planned as of yet including what was reported at SMF.

How does one upgrade?
You have to uninstall the old version and then install the newer one.
Like I said, thus far the only change is the option to use jQuery which helps if you intend to use jQuery within your BBCodes.
If not then you need not bother updating at this point.
Version 1.9 shown on this forum is not actually an official release at this time since I intend to add more changes prior to updating at SMF.
I suppose I should have dubbed it v1.81 or something to that effect.
Would I loose the BBC codes when I uninstall?
As long as you do not opt to delete things from the database at the time of uninstalling then no you will not.
DO NOT click on the checkbox that says:
Quote
[ ] Remove all data associated with this modification.
.. during the uninstall process.
