Title: Games view
Post by: Dave on November 30, 2019, 07:06:05 AM
Hi Chen,

I was just looking at the arcade on my brothers site and noticed the the games are now a list and not in a grid from that we used to have before and like you have on this site. I have been through all the settings for 'Set Arcade Skin' and 'Select List Type' but still no joy.

Any ideas why it wont change it?

I should have added that the site's using SMF2.0.15 and the arcade version is 'Installed version: 2.56.12'

link to site 'gardenguru.co.uk/index.php?action=arcade;sa=list;sortby=age;dir=desc'

Sorry about the multi posting but I cannot edit my posts or there would have been only one.

Update,

Looking at my profile on here I have just seen that there is an Arcade option within it. When I set the other site to the same as here 'Skin: Enterprise' and 'List: Vintage' it does indeed give me the grid look that I like.

But why wouldn't it do it via the Admin arcade settings? Shouldn't that be the default for everyone and then let members decide how they want it?

Thanks for the report.

I just took a look and performed some changes that should ensure admin defaults to be in use where a user has not yet selected their preference. Keep in mind it saves user settings so whatever has been opted by a member will stay that way unless changed by that member in the future.

I'm still testing one bug fix in the arcade prior to releasing version 2.57.0.
