I'm not getting alerts for topics at all. I've set it to email me whenever a new reply to the 2.3.8 thread is posted, never received one. I did try to PM myself and that one worked though so that's... Odd. I'll try to set up notifications and emails for this one as well and see what happens but I doubt it will be any different...
SMF Arcade seems excellent, but unfortunately I can't manage to install it. The test in the Package Manager shows no warnings or errors, but when I click on Install Modification I keep getting the following error:
QuoteSpecified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes File: /var/www/html/forum/Packages/temp/arcadeinstall/Subs-Install.php Line: 34
I first thought it had something to do with switching from e-Arcade, but I have now deleted all old tables from e-Arcade and still gets the same error. So no matter what I do, I can't get past that error message, and nothing gets installed
When I look at the database after getting that error, only smf_arcade_pdl1 and smf_arcade_pdl2 has been created and no other tables.
Any idea why that is, or how to resolve the issue? I'm running PHP 7.4.11 and MySQL 8.0.22 under Ubuntu 20.04.
I have executed the E-Arcade to SMF Arcade conversion tool with no problems, but now when I try to install SMF Arcade I get the following error:
"Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes File: /var/www/html/forum/Packages/temp/arcadeinstall/Subs-Install.php Line: 34
Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.17, while your database is at version 2.0. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php."

If you're still interested then you can attach your index.php from your main forum directory & I can take a look. The only way I was able to reproduce the problem is if the edits to that file are not in place or if the $sourcedir variable is missing from the globals in that file/function.

Yes it is. Go to your blocks list & edit your shoutbox block where you will find display options. You can opt show everywhere in the drop-down or you can click the advanced options check-box and then in Select Actions, Select Boards + Select Pages you can click all check-boxes in each.
I think for now, I'll keep using your awesome packs and figure things out on a later date. I'm so busy with video editing, recording and streaming. I'll talk to you again, Chen. I did give you access as a member for now on my forums. Thanks again for a awesome program, Chen and all your help.
